Hi all. I have noticed some rust beginning to show on the chassis ( on the part crossing the van, in front of the wheels). Advice welcome. What is best to have done, and by who? Is it best to ask AL who I bought the van from, or anyone else? Thank you.

How long ago did you buy the van? I would ask AL.

Hi Christine if it s not deep just on the surface remove it with a wire brush and paint with Hamerite or similar,steel will always rust in this climate.

Thanks for comments. I bought the van last Oct (2014), and it is a 2010 model. I happened to have a long chat with Jandi Caravans in Scotland today (gosh, they are so helpful....& lovely people ), and they gave me the advice about the brush etc!!
