Very good price and they've been honest about the repair work.
Chassis damage due to a pothole. It would be interesting to see the repair bill and list of new parts etc. Also to see how it tows (alignment etc).
What do others think?

I'd ask who did the repairs? Has it been jig tested for alignment (Randa mentioned this also) clamber all over it, ask many many questions, get an independent inspection

He says 'This Caravan has been professionally repaired after it suffered a little damage to the underside of the caravan' and then 'The caravan is a repaired category D insurance write off'.

A little damage? Hmmm!

I would strongly advise that you pay for a caravan engineer to carry out a pre-purchase inspection before committing any of your hard-earned to this caravan.

Hi guys, yeah I think it's one to steer clear of, as it is ending soon, and we can't get to see it. On questioning him what work had be done and was the alignment ok, he replied "They have pulled floor back to chassis on the right hand side and been welded and strengthened" no mention of alignment so I don't think we will risk it, keep looking. Thanks for all your feedback.
Cheers.

It's so difficult to call isn't it Paul?
When you look at the seller's web site (Pulse Caravan Recovery) they look very professional (strange that viewing is at Malvern yet the company is based in Stourbridge?)
Towards the end of the auction, if it's still a bargain, perhaps JohnE's advice is sound. John is a caravan engineer and although perhaps a bit too far for him to travel , he has added this useful link to the forum:-
Mobile Caravan Engineers
It wouldn't harm to find out how much an engineer's report would cost.
