On our last outing, Pont Kemys (very nice by the way) a lot of caravans had solar lights around them.
We liked.
So we got some, lol.
My question is though, whats to stop anyone pinching them?

In fact, just out of interest, has anyone had anything pinched at all anytime?

Solar lights are easy, just pull them out.

I have personally never had anything stolen, although I did read in a caravan magazine that one of the caravan testers was writing an article about a new van. He had gone out for the day and when they had come back somebody had pinched his electric hook up cable and the aqua roll... . Fortunately it's not a common problem but it does happen...

We had our new LIDL set out for the first time in Somerset and they worked a treat. Nothing pinched so far.

In all our time camping, campering?, motorhoming and caravanning I can honestly say we have had nothing "taken"

We have never had anything taken in 18 years of camping. Most (if not all) folks an a campsite are all in the same boat, you can't lock a tent! I may be naive but I tend to think that campers are on the whole nice people, having said that I did know a WWB owner who had his satellite TV dish stolen but that is the only one I have ever heard. We use solar lights without any issues.

Solar lights are so inexpensive - are they worth nicking ?

I think solar lights look very cheery round a caravan or awning.
I bought a couple of cheapy sets for a £tenner - they're more likely to stop working than someone pinch them.
