Have you considered the SsangYong Korando with towing capacity 2000 or their new small SUV the Tivoli which has a towing capacity of 1500?
Also has 5 year warranty.

We have a Suzuki Grand Vitara and have been more than happy with it (and previous Suzukis). Our local dealer has always been very helpful with servicing and repairs. We are a bit disappointed that there are no plans to upgrade this model as it pulls the Troll really well. So we may need to look elsewhere when needing to replace it in a few year's time.
