Interior Light Problem 2002 Familia 310

We have a 2002 Familia 310 GT. The interior light over the large table has stopped working. First it went down to one bulb and then none so assumed it was the bulbs. Fitted two new bulbs but no joy. Thought the bulbs might be duds so tried them in other light fitting and they work. I then got a 12v battery tester and no signs of any current coming into the lamp. If I go from the top wire on the switch to the black wire on the 12v connector I get a light on the units that work but not on this unit. I then unplugged the connectors above the light unit and tried for a circuit there but no joy. Guessing it is at the other end of the wire wherever this may be Has anyone got any ideas . It is the light fitting with two bulbs ,and switch at one end 12v connector at the other. Alternatively can anyone recommend a caravan technician who is good with electrics in the South Yorkshire area.

Have you checked the fuses? The fuse box is often under the right hand rear seat or in the bottom of the wardrobe.
