Hello all. Now the proud owner of a 2005 Puck L Touring 250 GT after 25 years or so of owning an old 1989 Sprite Muskateer and what a difference towing the Puckle. Have to check my speed now at 60 max. Being new to Eribafolk, I may pester you with what seems like daft questions so please, bear with me. Regards, Rob M.

First daft question. Bought an AK 1300 stabiliser and A160 lock to fit. Ready to fit when I read in the booklet under 'warning'... The support bracket No. AL KO etc etc is NOT compatible with the AK 1300. Horror as I've just spent about £300 on the set up. Said Support bracket does not appear detachable and seems far away from the workings of the AK1300. Anyone else came upon this who can advise/suggest? With thanks in anticipation.

Hello there from Derek and Carole.
Ref your prob, can't help as we had ours fitted when we bought the unit.
You are certainly in the right place for daft questions and daftness generally, but fire away with probs and stuff and there will be some one in here to help.
My first girl friend was from Milngavie (Mulguy) - Bearsden, back in the late 50s. Ahh the lovely Catherine.

I haven't heard of the A160 lock, the usual lock that fits into the bracket for the Ak1300 is the one in the link below.

Hi Potop320 and thank you. The lock shown is the one I have and I have no idea wher the A160 came fro. I think I read it on the box. Anyway it fits as I bit the bullet and put the AK1300 stabiliser on the Puckle as I saw photos of other Eribas with the same bracket as mine's but with the AK1300 also fitted. Seems to be working fine as I am now in Berwick Upon Tweed CC Seaview and towing was easy.
