Well, new to owning a puck, as opposed to owning a new one.
The name is Martin, and I've recently bought a 1998 puck, for what looks like a good price, considering what 10 year older ones are selling for on eBay.
Done a few jobs already, spent two days scraping all the rust flakes and old paint off the chassis, and painting in chassis black, fitted LED lamps to the metal spotlamps, as I didn't want to drill holes in the woodwork, and today's job was removing the loose modern covers on the seats, to thankfully reveal that the original covers are not ripped, or horribly stained, so I now have all the seats on the floor in here drying off after I got the vax to them and I can't move.
I should really have gone away in it while the weather is ok, but I've got a car for sale to help finance it, and I'm stuck around the house waiting for buyers to not turn up when they say, or even at all
Got a load of silly questions to ask later, but for now
1) what do I do with the table at night, or when towing? should there be some stowage location that I can't see? My table has the single pole , and a plastic pipe flange screwed under the table, that the last owner repaired with a very tight ziptie.
2) what is the panel to the left of the door, with a hole in the middle for? If you lean in through the dooor, the panel on the left, forming the end of the under seat storage drops down, so you can grab the jack brace, secured to the inside is a hinged panel with a hole in the middle, having two small holes that locate on dowels under the seat so the panel tilts and you have a flowerpot holder or something next to the seat.

Thanks for the fast replies, and the welcome.
Victoriana, it may be, but I can't see why there is a hole in it.
I figured the bed out by myself, I hope.
The table isn't involved, the two broom stales go across the gap, and the bunks slide inwards until they touch, the small wooden blocks on the underside rest on the broom stales, then what were the seat backs drop into the gap over the bendy hinged planks, the bendiness doesn't matter as you can't put much weight on that part, unless you like to sleep on your side with your back on the wall.
Am I right?

Hi and
As for table...do you mean it has one leg and clips to the wall in a grove?? If this is it, we don't do anything to ours while towing...we leave it in situ and to date it has stayed put even over bumpy roads.
As for the 'hole'...is it to put your finger in and pull out, instead of a handle of some sort???????

Thanks everybody, I'll get a photo if it ever stops raining.......
Table seems too rickety, but if it works for everyone else.....
The alloy rail/clip was loose and I tightened up the self tappers, I reckon that the previous owner driving with it in place is what loosened them in the first place, but there is nowhere else to put it.
EDIT
Just occurred to me what the hole in that panel is for, it is so the lock/catch can go through it and keep the panel closed!

Hello and
We have a 99 Puck and yes, you're right about the hole in the bed extension - ours is the same. We tow with our table in situ and it's never caused a problem, always very secure. when the bed is down then the table just stows under on the floor or stays outside in the awning.
