Top up or down in dry storage?

I have just had a car port made alongside my garage so now my Triton 430 (no name yet!) is fairly snug in most weathers and no need for winter cover.

Any views on leaving the top up or down through the winter months?20150929_141523.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Personally I'd keep it down and away from all the muck that gets thrown around in the wind not to mention sideways driven rain. You can always pop out once or twice a month during nice weather with low humidity and raise it for a couple of hours.

Thanks Deeps. Pretty obvious really but I did wonder if there was an issue with the springs in the lifting mechanism. A bit like the blinds up or down debate.

Top down, blinds up, fridge cracked open, also windows cracked open. Cover on. Don't forget to drain the water, did that one year, new tap and pump required (cos we didn't realise tap was open and burnt out the pump).
