We both have adequate mobiles with vodaphone. the signal at home is crap but we rarely use them here. I want to top as usual PAYG and it doesn't recognise my number .....whaaaaat?
Tried their online chat and they can't phone me on landline, so that's crap as well. We don't have or want smart phones.
So annoying.

As i understand it if you don't use your mobile for a time they think that is it not wanted. So they turn off your connection and give your number to someone else.

We use a vodaphone PAYG when in The U.K. You must top it up within 6 months of the previous top up or you lose your number.

Thanks, I am always within 6 mths.
I am having similar issues with a two banks, only trying to transfer money which we've done happily before.
