Excited new owners of older Eriba Triton here

Hi everyone,

We are the excited new owners of a 1991 Triton M from Holland this week. It has the amazing folding washroom, which I think may be a bit unusual.

We have been caravanners for a while, but our teens have reached the age where we have given up trying to persuade them to join us every trip, so we have downsized. We have still got an ancient but dry 30 foot Hobby stored in an out of the way spot that we can use for family hols, but I think it may be moving on as our kids get older. We are unable to tow the Hobby, so very much looking forward to TOURING caravanning again. We also love to go to New Wine, a Christian festival, every year, and we feel we're getting a bit old for camping at that and like to be able to offer hospitality to lots of people, which is hard in a tent. Hence our wonderful Eriba, which our teens have christened 'The Tardis' because they say, "It's bigger on the inside"! I have to say it looks very cute sitting on our drive, and does not take up all the space!

We already have a query, but I'll try to find the right place to post about that. If anyone has any queries about the 1991 Triton M with folding washroom, I will try to help.

Thanks!
Sarah, Chris and the Tardis

Hi Sarah and Chris and welcome to Eribafolk. The Tardis sounds lovely. The early '90's vans always look classy. When you've time, a few photos would be appreciated.
If you want to chat or ask a question just go ahead. If it happens to be in the wrong place we can always move it for you

hope you find the answers to your other post re battery bit technical for me sorry!
we have a Dutch triton 430 from Belgium but bought from Dom (eriba-shop) in Norfolk who does the electrics for you, he has a mobile chap who does the technical stuff.
there seem to be plenty of tech friendly people on here, but if you need more help there are CCC accredited mobile service people I'm sure that info is linked here under servicing?

I will post some folding washroom pictures when I get chance. It is basic, but hopefully effective in times of need! We are of the generation of night time excursions and got fed up with getting freezing in the middle of the night!
