Just like to take this opportunity to say to those in the flood affected areas, stay positive, keep warm and stay safe! It might be an 'act of nature' or someone's fault BUT you won't achieve anything if you're not there to have your say!

We hope no one on here has been affected but if you have our thoughts are with you, we were on bottled water and porta showers for 6 weeks when the river Severn flooded some years ago, not nice.

I'm off now for my daily river walk which is 13k along the banks of the Severn and it has been rising steadily with many areas of floodplain covered.
