There's snow....

...in them there hills. Brrr. (better than rain however).

We picked up a courtesy car this morning while ours is in for servicing and decided to go the direct route from the garage to a friend's shop in the Rhondda Valley.
Wow, lots of snow about. Really pretty scenery but I don't like driving in snow, especially in a strange car.

Incidentally, the car is a new VW Polo Bluemotion Diesel. What a great little car. Plenty of go in it and very economical. Bet it would tow a Puck without any effort.

Forecasting it here tomorrow, and I'm only about 20 feet above sea level.

But I bet we only get soggy rain! It's really dark and nasty here right now. The dogs are determinedly curled up in their baskets and refusing to move!

Had some scrappy snow today but it followed the rain so nothing came of it. It's very cold though!

Snow? We had 18" dump of the white stuff over Monday/Tuesday and its has been a steady `flurry` since.

But there again we are in Switzerland, like you Roger we don't like driving in it, so we use the local buses. I suppose the difference here is that the locals are used to it. By 7am the snow ploughes have cleared all of the essential roads and the transport links are up and running.

It's great for skiing.
