Good morning all, just wondering do any folk use a generator when not on a site with hookup facility. I have been looking into a Honda ex500 for when we attend Volkswagen shows but will low noise levels, would welcome thoughts/experiences

I have an old but well used Honda ex350 it's a 2 stroke, had it for about 27 years! Never let me down and although we seldom used it in he Eriba, we did with the Burstner which we had for 18 years, and we used it with at least one of the campers we had before that. Will happily power an electric kettle , lights etc. Providing I mix the fuel correctly and shake it well before use, very efficeint, smoke free, and ultra quiet on the lower power output. No doubt the "green" people would have something to say about it being a 2 stroke BUT they usually let themselves down by not being as green as they think they are
