is a new hitch!!! They fitted the AKS 3004 safety pack - apparently it's the one fitted as standard on new vans. Anyway, now we can get Betty on and off Colin stress-free! Bliss. We've decided to go and try it out for the first time Easter week end in Saumur where there looks to be a lovely campsite on an island in the river opposite the castle. Do any of you know it?

Well done. That sounds the business and congratulations to Betty and Colin on getting hitched.

Don't know the campsite but if you've not already done so, a visit to the mushroom caves is good fun. I wish we could remember the one we visited. It was a small concern a few miles south of the river and the owner installed added attractions in some of the caves which were hilarious.

Campsite Isle d'Offard?
Nice riverside location and easy stroll across bridge into town.
The site is quite large and commercial with many ready pitched holiday 'tents' but the location is worth it.
