This isn't terribly important in the overall scheme of things, but please don't feel you need to distance yourself from a product or service that you are recommending.

There's no need to say that you've no connection with a particular outfit or that you aren't related to someone who's done you a bang-up job.

I know there's a certain other forum which takes a dim view of these kind of associations, but not here.

We don't really care as long as whoever it is you're bigging up does a top job and it's of benefit to the readership.

And we couldn't give a toot if the mobile engineer who serviced your caravan is your brother or that your kids' inheritance is invested in a company that sells Remoskas* at a reasonable price.

Go for it.
