We purchased a 2008 Familia 320GT back in November 2012. All was well during 2013 and we took the van to Belgium and Germany for our August holidays. In June 2014 we had the van serviced which included a damp check, no damp problems were detected. We had another tour of Germany in August.

We keep the van on our driveway and keep it covered during the Winter months as per the picture below. Early in 2015 we noticed some staining by the door and above the fridge this has got worse as is evident in the recent attached pictures. The van does have a Fiamma sun camopy on the door side but I don't believe it is suffering any water ingress. I'm at a loss as to what is causing the problem, it seems to be condensation or rather that is all I think it could be.

Has anyone experienced similar issues? Apologies if I have uploaded this to the wrong page.

Welcome! Do you have a dehumidifier? It could be condesation? Is the cover breathable?

check the awning rail seal outside, and the roof for cracks, any marks in cupboard?,.. have heard the upper front side light seal can leak, and may need some tetroseal to reseal
the fridge area looks like water running down and gathering spreading out to find way down, have you looked to see what's lurking behind fringe vent? also check the awning light isn't allowing water in
would get someone to do another damp test, asap. and look at the figures from previous damp test.
it is possible the awning needs more sealer..
you may need some wall board and an insurance claim
that staining is not right and does suggest water ingress

Thanks for the advice. I hadn't thought that it could be an insurance claim.

I'm currently in the process of asking Automotive Leisure how big a job it would be to repair.

Have to agree with others and you have water finding it's way in, that is just to much for condensation. As it is over the fridge area and door on the opposite side I would think you have to check the awning rail or the fittings for the Fiamma. Good luck and sorry to see it's staining, hope you get it sorted.

to the forum. That does look rather a large stain for condensation, hope you get it sorted to your satisfaction.

Thanks very much for all your advice and kind words.

My follow on question is does anyone know of any recommended repairers i.e ones that do a good job at a reasonable price in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex or close to those counties.

Maybe that information is already available on this site I just need pointing to it.

MG Caravans are now in Royston (used to be Hertford) and they may be worth consulting.

Thanks Frantone. I have used MG Caravans previously so I have their contact details.

A quick pic in happier pre water ingress times:
