Hi all,
I would be interested to know what products you use if any to clean the water tank and pipes after being laid up for the winter. Also, do you use anything to ensure the water is bug free?

Many thanks for your interest in our products.

Puriclean a powder product, and Aqua Clean Tabs, tablets, should be used together. Puriclean cleans and purifies the complete water system. Aqua Clean Tabs (now Midi Tabs) purifies the water you add to the water tank after it has been cleaned.

Purisol and Aqua Sol are liquid products and should be used together. Purisol cleans and purifies the water system. Aqua Sol purifies the water that you add to the tank after you have cleaned the water system.

Do not mix the two systems.

The choice is yours of which system you prefer. Both systems are very good.

None of the products will harm any part of any water system including any stainless steel elements.

Puriclean and Aqua Clean Tabs are usually more readily available.

For several years now I have used Puriclean powder to clean the water tank on the boat (approx 20 gallons) and have now started to use it in our very small 10 litre? Water carrier in the caravan. I have never used the tablets as well as where we fill up (in UK) there is always a good supply of water that is constantly being used by other boats too. We also use an inline charcoal filter on the boat and I take our Brita water jug. Belt and braces. Perhaps if we didn't do the inline filter and the jug I would consider using the tablets when we fill up. Sally
