Where to store stuff towing with camper van

Hi

The plan is to tow our eriba familia 1987 with our VW camper van so I have been pondering of where to store everything as both aren't to great on security so was thinking this

Caravan
Food
pots pans etc
sleeping stuff sleeping bags or duvets
shoes/wellies ?
day to day things
chairs tables etc
awning
2 children bikes inside whilst travelling

Campervan
Clothes (at least when travelling with caravan)
shoes/welies ?
food (day stuff)
tools (for the van )
elec hook up (can use in van)
2 adults bikes on rear boot
spare calor gas (van has hob)

Also need to think of weight distribution, reason clothes are in the van is more down to security issues (at least still have clothes if caravan gets broken into ) The awning poles aren't light being the soplair type so maybe keep in the van when traveling ?

Any advice gladly taken !

We tow with a car but the only things I worry about are electronic stuff and my handbag. If the rest gets stolen, then good luck to the thief. I don't have any designer gear and although a blow, I can replace a table and chair if I have to so I don't sweat the small stuff.
When you say van, which one do you mean? ;)
If you're worried about clothes, then keep some in the caravan and some in the campervan.
Pots and pans go where you cook.
The rest is probably a question of where you can fit it and weight distribution.
That's my inexperienced input. I'll probably find myself hungry and nekked next time we go away LOL

Yup. I store it where it fits. Yet to load our new to us Triton, we appear to have less storage space than we had in our PuckL. Hoping it all goes in otherwise one of us will have less clothes (hint - it won't be me cos I do the packing).
