Went to Newquay rally with all my sketch gear expecting to get loads of impressions while Carole went shopping, walking and exploring as usual.
What was missing? Many of the ralliers would have heard my self disgust in forgetting one thing which is essential for sketching - paper to sketch on.
I remembered where my pad was, on the easel at home having snapped some of the studies I did the week before.
In desperation I scrounged some sheets of copy paper (not the best for watercolour washes) from the Trencreek site owner and made do with that. Here are the results.
Overlooking the CP at Cubert Common walk, then all the others in the caff at Lost Gardens of Heligan.
