Hello everyone,
I've just joined
I have been looking at the Eribas for a while now and am very excited about getting one! We are looking at a Troll 2007 550. They look like awesome caravans. As over never even touched one though I am a bit concerned and hoping you can help.

We are in NZ and currently looking at Eribas in the UK. It's a big investment to bring over when we've never even been in one.
So am I right? That it ;
Will hold its value for sale even in the NZ market where it's mostly unknown? I'm not looking to sell it for ages, but when I do sell will it sell well ??
Is this caravan all it seems? we are a very very tall family 6ft 6 max. We won't be inside for a lot of the time as life over here means we are always outside until bedtime so hoping Dad will fit just enough with the pop up.
I know you are all biased but am I right to be this excited about the Eriba.??
Hoping for lots of feedback to help promote Eribas in NZ!
Cheers

Hi Welcome to the forum, I am not a Troll expert but the layout of the 550 looks like you sleep width ways which may be a problem if you are over 6' tall. There are Troll models that sleeps lengthways which one of our Troll owners could advise? Height wise maximum head room in a pre 2009 is 6'2" 2009 onwards is 6'3" .
The Dutch are very fond of the Eribas and I have seen a few tall Dutch owners when on site. and yes you are right to be excited just as I am every time I open my Eriba door...

ERIBAs certainly do hold their price very well - at least in the UK and Europe - can't vouch for other parts of the world ! I'm only 5ft 8" and have a Puck L can't advise for 6ft 6"inhabitants ! But I'm sure others on the forum will be able to help , the bed lengths will probably be the deciding factor.

Can't help with Troll sizes I'm afraid but hopefully someone will be along soon who can.
Eribas are small but they are perfectly formed.
Good luck with your adventure, hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi and
My only concern would be if the beds are widthways. If you look in the 'Picture Gallery' above and then the layouts, you may find a design with beds lengthways. Maybe a 540 would suit better. Have you walked around a main dealership here and had a try at laying on the beds. Other than that issue, you are definitely making the right choice.
