Eribe -no and yes

Bought this drill last year and could only find this long ridiculous bit connection, all to use in lowering the steadies.

When I try it, the drill invariably goes into a spin mode and the bit doesn't turn and makes a hell of a racket. So I end up doing the job the hard way by hand.

I do not use the drill at full speed and feather it on so to speak. This occasionally works, but not often and always.

Maybe I need to be more precise on buying the drill bit exactly for the nut, but I thought they were all pretty standard sizes like wheel nuts

If you cut it down to the size shown it works really well and does not wobble around. As well as the steadies, it is also excellent for engaging the motor mover rollers. Saves me a lot of messing around.
