Thus my suggestion is to move the logout button somewhere else, Perhaps just to the top of the drop down menu?
I agree that it's a bit of a pain if you use a tablet-type thing, but you can always zoom the page with your finger and thumb to make the buttons bigger and reduce the chances of hitting the log out button by mistake.
And anyway, it's good exercise for your fingers. It's the equivalent of parking at the far end of the supermarket car park and walking to the entrance

Add a signature to your profile
Hover your mouse over your name on the right side just below the banner, when the drop down menu appears select "edit profile"

Under options you can change your password and various settings
But for this you need "edit profile"

Scroll down to the "signature" box and type it in there

next scroll to the bottom and select save

Your new signature will not appear until you make a new post, if you change a signature it will start from that time onwards and your old signature will remain in older posts.
