Basics for one night stay

We're picking up our Troll 540 on Monday afternoon from A/L and because it's such a long way back home (North Wales) have decided to stay the night at South Lytchett Manor Park.

What's the bare minimum equipment we need for a one night stay?

At the moment I figure
a) Gas bottle
b) Mains hook up cable
c) Aquaroll?? - I think we have a tap on the pitch and I may not bother filling the water tank as I'll only need to empty it the following morning.
d) Saucepan, Plates and Cutlery for evening meal
e) Bed linen or Sleeping bags
f) Couple of camping chairs so we can sit out if weather is nice - Won't bother with awning for a night
k) Travel kettle - low wattage

I can't think of anything else but I'm sure that those of you with more experience might have a few ideas.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Kevin

If you don't want to bother even with the pans etc for a one nighter there is a very good pub to eat at a short walk away. The Frantones were at that site and we met them in pub to keep in touch.

The pub's a great idea. We do have two dogs though so it makes it a bit awkward. They're pretty well behaved all in all but it does make it difficult to relax.

For goodness sake it's your first night in your new van - 2 wine glasses and a bottle of something palatable plus a corkscrew celebrate the start of new adventures in your 540

Enjoy the first night of very many more to come - have a great time

Hat to reduce the eriba kisses
sun tan lotion, book / magazine
torch,
tin opener, a plastic bag,
gas bottle and spanner for regulator if before bulk head mounted ones
slanket, pillow, sleeping bags
kettle,
cups, milk coffee or tea, matches or sparker device to light gas
tooth brush, micro fibre towels so light and so big, can recommend the little Bodhi ones.
no need to bother with aquas, if there is a camp kitchen washing up sink, you will just need a bucket to carry pots and liquid x dish cloth, tee towel

normally loos have sinks for abductions,
could use the bucket to collect grey water.
if have fitted none removable fresh water tanks, would consider a jug or water filter jug, if don't want to fill the whole tank

for total belt and braces
a swiss army knife, think they have corkscrews
a screw driver flat headed and cross
socket set, in case no winding handle, or you want to check wheels, a jack should you find a thorn??
torque wrench
nose weight gauge
ensure insured, by letting car insurance know got a tow bar,
sort eriba insurance.

you could take sitting outside chairs

edit whoops forgot the hook up cable,

all depends how hands on want to get.

most of all enjoy your new eriba xx

This whole question of protective headgear for the avoidance of Eriba kisses is debatable.

Is it better to wear a crash helmet at all times when entering, exiting or moving around in the van so as to avoid all risk of injury, for example, or should one go about bare headed, suffer the inevitable concussion and blood loss while at the same time learning true respect for Eriba idiosyncrasies?

I tend towards the latter and bear the scars on the forehead to prove it.

I had my first Eriba kiss whilst inspecting the Troll at A/L. I'm sure it won't be the last :-)

Can highly recommend the pub food, the car park is visible so you can leave the dogs in it if it is cool or warm and sit outside at the back they have fantastic tables, patio heater,
