And it's a hello from him!

Hi folks
Have recently ordered a Troll 540. Have had a caravan for many years and needed to downsize. Having said down size, beds bigger, seats bigger, caravan lighter, holds a value that beats any other make, full of style and finesse, offering all that is needed. Why have I waited so long!
Looking forward to getting to know the Troll. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Stephen

Congratulations on your excellent taste. For a short time dangle something very light from the catches which hold the roof down this will remind you to duck when approaching the rear of the van. Something similar around the door will minimise the inevitable Eriba kisses you will subject your poor unprotected head to. Otherwise wear a hard had at all times.

Have fun

Denise & Phil

Hi Stephen, if you are not getting the hot water option with your new van a Superkettle is a cheap alternative that a lot of Eriba owners use for hot water and brews. Also the Ramoska oven is popular..

Why not bring your new and very lovely Eriba to the Summer Meet?

Thanks everyone. I would love to join summer meet, however, sadly, van doesn't arrive until autumn

Welcome. It's so funny to hear you say about downsizing to a Troll, as I have a Puck, but probably need to consider something bigger now that my husband has retired. I look at the pictures of Trolls and wonder if I could comfortably tow anything so enormous !

Chris-and-dogs We had a puck and moved up to a troll I had never towed anything before the puck. I had no problem moving up to tow the troll I confess I am no good reversing though. I had a motor mover fit happy days we really do prefer the troll and for us it makes it more enjoyable all round. We think the biggest improvement overall is the loo especially in the middle of the night.

But I can also see the attraction of the puck and all the other models for that matter.
