Caravan Club Mayday Recovery vs Green Flag Recovery Plus

I have posed the question before, but got my product wrong so will try again.

I have Green Flag Recovery Plus. This covers my car and caravan in the event of a breakdown / won't start at home etc.

They seem to cover the caravan and car but then mention the CC Mayday policy (provided by Green Flag). This product is around £40 per year more expensive and often I can get the two cars covered with the standalone Green Flag policy for a little extra.

Apart from the dual recovery, I don't understand the difference to justify the extra £40 between May Day and their Recovery Plus.

Anyone any ideas / past experience?

We've got a couple of cars on Green Flag's breakdown cover. I agree that their policy pricing is a bit confusing sometimes.

I reckon the simplest solution is to ring them up and ask them to explain. I've always found them very helpful.
