Hi, I don't have an Eriba yet, but I feel it could be the right caravan for me and my big dog! Have joined the group to glean info on the pros and cons of Eriba caravans as opposed to campervans. I live in France which may be of use for getting a deal in the reasonably near European countries.
Happy Travels!

Hi Lorraine, and welcome to becoming an Eribaist. When I was in the same dilemma the judgement was how much sightseeing you want to do as many caravan parks are outside areas which means taking camper vans/mobile home out and then parking issues in towns etc. Of course you may be happy to get about to places by local transport and walking if you want to leave the camper van on site and not pack everything away anytime you want to go on excursions.

With the Eriba being left you can then go anywhere with your car and dog with no parking issues, plus the car means you have the added benefit of mpg as the Eriba little effects the mpg when towing.

Good luck making your decision but if you opt for the Ereiba then the next one will be what model.

Hi Lorraine and to the forum. Up until last year we had a motor home and we found that you were always traveling, which is great if you are of an age, the point being that you never return to the campsite that you left but go on to the next one. Last year having travelled down to Spain we just wanted to chill out and stop. Staying on the same site for a couple of weeks was great but left time short to travel forwards and to early to start back for home. Next pitch to us was a couple in an Eriba they had their car and were touring about every day made us quite envious, hence the change. Depends what you won't to do chill or travel.

. You won't go wrong with an Eriba but then we are all biased here.
