2 questions

When I put up the pop top last week I noticed that the insect screen triangle shape at the top at the front had a small rip in it. I think we may have caught it when we pulled the top down. The canvas is fine. I wondered where I might source the insect screen rather than replace it with an Eriba part as I understand that these are quite expensive.
The other question I have is regarding the Reich mover that we have fitted. It was making a right racket when I engaged it. On disengaging it I found that it was full of small stones. I managed to get some of them out using a tent peg but there are still lots of them inside. I had used pitches with lots of gravel whilst on holiday and the yard where it's stored also has lots of gravel. Any ideas how to get the stones out?
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

I also have recently noticed a small tear in my mesh and have repaired it by stitching with nylon thread. The end result is not too bad given my lack of expertise! I enquired about a replacement Eriba mesh, approx £20-30 dependent on size. I'll see how my repair lasts before going down that route.

In my 2001 Troll we have a mesh curtain that goes around the whole pop top.
I took my mesh down and out last winter to give it a wash, it shrank slightly , and putting it back was tricky getting it to go behind the toilet screen that hangs down.
It is held up by velcro and it struck me at the time that should I ever replace it , it would be easier to make in one long piece and have a velcro join in it, which could go above the toilet window.
I am not sure that window fly screen as per e-bay, would work very well, better off buying a plainer net curtain, the sort of thing Ikea do.

Highmiler.

One of the zips stuck last year and we forgot about it. Should do something about it.

Regarding the Reich there are two bolts hopefully underneath unless yoyrs has been fitted upside down, which is not unusual. Undo these and the casing seperates into 2 halves to allow you to clean out the stones

Jandi can source new mesh triangles for you. Mind you, they aren't cheap!
