We are new to Eriba world but previous owners of various camping outfits over the years. Have just bought a 2005 Puck 120 which looks good behind our Berlingo and so easy to tow. Already had many curious glances as we drove from dealer back to home. We are looking forward to our first outing next week for the inaugural camp. Here's hoping for many happy days out and about as well as friendly contact here.

Hello from the least likely Hampshireman you're hopefully going to meet on your travels. We're in Otterbourne.

Welcome from a fellow 2005 Puck 120 owner, only had it about 3 months but loving it.
Did you get yours from AL?

Yes, didn't fancy going any further. Older Pucks in really good condition are few and far between. Impressed with AL's setup although it did feel like we were on a conveyor belt. We had done our research beforehand so knew exactly what we wanted, thus saving time!

Hi Hampshireman

Thanks for welcome and we are in Gosport, the home of the submarine service ( well, a museum anyway!)

Enjoy your travels. You'll be off to the European mainland no doubt living so close to the Channel..... that is so enjoyable at a completely different level.....the whole camping experience is SOOOOOOOOO much more relaxed than in this country.

Hi Eribear,

I doubt we will be going further 'abroad' than the IOW! We have an aging dog and no pet passport for him. As we are getting on a bit ourselves we will be limiting our travels to the UK. It is very expensive to take car and van abroad these days. We last went to IOW in November 2012 with just the car and ourselves and the return ferry fare was over £70. Apparently, the IOW ferry is the most expensive in Europe. I agree with your comment about the relaxed nature of camping on the continent and the weather is so much more reliable too.

Exhibited works of art in Gosport? I spend a lot of time at the RNSM but my wife is more artistic than me, so would appreciate any art forms!

It's not exactly the cultural capital of the south but there was an open show and I entered. Sales for me zilch and only about 10 out of 100 works sold.
