Ego Titanium Mover

I recently had an Ego Titanium mover fitted to my Familia 320 GT and am adding a few comments and photos for those who may be interested.
The mover was xupplied by Autowfix and fitted by one of their agents for just under £850. The fitter took about four hours to do the job and as far as I can see, did a very neat and professional installation. Access to the spare wheel is unaffected by the installation. The ground clearance of the unit is about six inches (probably not as much as the Reich) but it is no lower than the bottom shock absorber bracket on the caravan. As far as operation is concerned, it works very well and can move with an accuracy of 1/4 inch, forwards, backwards, left, right or spinning on its axis. It's not hugely fast but that doesn't bother me as you're never going to be moving a great distance anyway. Our driveway is quite steep (which is why I wanted a mover in the first place) but the mover coped without any difficulty.20161024_095637.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)20161024_095705.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)20161024_095727.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Looks good , have you tried taking your spare wheel out from the cradle? The Reich would let you drop it so far but not for the last few centimeters which would not let you get the wheel out of its spigot. I had to slightly modify mine so it would drop all the way to the floor.

When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!

Yes, the spare wheel comes out ok but if you have a problem, the spigot seems to be unnecessarily long and I dont think it would be too hard to shorten it and drill another hole for the retaining clip.

Looks a nice unit. Watch out for the speed bumps if you go to France

Not planning on going to France, so no problem there!
