Over the past few days I've been reading on here and on Eribafolk Facebook that many folk are into Classic cars, both the driving of them and the restoration of them.
How about a few photos and a brief description of what you've got and what you've done. You can add them on here.

I have a 1973 MGB roadster which I have had for the last 27 years, I converted it to wire wheels, reupholstered the seats in leather, renewed the suspension, new soft top. I had a partial restoration done on it about 14 years ago for the body work. Its a constant ongoing maintenance story.
It sat in my garage for 11 years just been turned over and the last 4 years it stopped running. For my 50th my daughters had it secretly trailed away to an MG specialist and got it going as a birthday present which has rekindled my MG hobby again...

2CV Birmingham NEC.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)2 CV White Grey 5 © VicPics 2.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)This is my 1985 2CV,all original. un- restored, one of only about 300 produced for the UK market in this colour scheme, and owned by me from new, a lot of TLC and regular, if not frequent use ! Most miles covered on holiday in France,Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal towing more camping gear in a trailer than was good for it !
OK, so its not exactly vintage ! But maybe one day !
The other picture shows it at the NEC classic car show last year.

Currently working on Maude, my 65 traveller. I'm replacing panels that are showing their age. I Intend to fit a v6 or v8 auto in the future at some point but we shall see.

The best we can do is a 23 year old Escort 1800cc XR3i Cabriolet. It was in tip top condition when we put it away in our garage 6 years ago when it was decided that we didn't need to run two cars.
If the petitioners can win back the 25 year car tax exemption then we might keep it. (shhh don't tell the missus).

Please, I don't want to spoil or take this off track but I noticed in the recent dramas "in plain sight" and "close to the enemy" some really lovely old trucks, vans, cars etc, the only thing that let the authenticity down was the cleanliness of these vehicles. I'm not complaining but after a "drive" they would have shown dust, dirt, grime, even in those days of fewer vehicles on the road, I guess the owners and TV companies have contracts so they have to be looked after. Love the idea of owning and cherishing one though, I can almost imagine myself ordering the polish and wax now!
Likes to wax and have a smooth finish! 😎
I am above no one and no one is below me
