Hello!
We are hoping to join the Eriba fraternity this year and are trying to decide on the model to go for.
When deciding the model to go for, the issue for us is about the length of the bed. I am about 6ft 3ins and I have struggled to find a bed that I can fit into comfortably.
Lying across the van doesn't work and, strangely, the longest bed seems to be the Puck L which has one bed longer than the other. We would happily give up the shower/loo to achieve the length of bed I need. We are of an age where wild camping doesn't hold too much appeal and parking-up close to the campsite services would not be problem.
Any advice from the EribaFolk would be most welcome.
Dave

Hi Dave and welcome to Eribafolk.
There are a lot of tall blokes on here who live quite happily in their Eribas but as you say, across van sleeping will probably be a no go.
Therefore, the Eriba Puck L will be the smallest van in the range with long beds. There are a few elderly (pre-1995) Pan/Familias with long beds but none of the newer Familias will do the trick.
The 410 (no washroom 3 berth) and 420 2 berth are the long beds in the Triton range.
In the Troll range it'll be the 540, 542,555 and the Pontos 660.
Here are the layouts of all the popular models.

This might be of some use, it doesn't give the bed sizes but you can see the ones with longer beds

Morphy (Bev & Steve)
We started with a Puck and really enjoyed it ease of towing and parking up. We now have the Troll 540 we had made our mind up before even looking it was the model for us. But there is a model for everyone horses for courses and all that. What I will say the toilet is a god send so don't discount not having a loo, especially middle of the night.
Morphy good luck in your search,

Hello from Derek and Carole.
We were talking about beds yesterday with our La La friends who are buying new ones for their house and didn't try (silly sods) two different mattresses as they need soft and hard.
However we have a Puck L, and I am only 5' 9 and 1/2 but we both sleep long ways on the bunks having tried the making up way and then making down way which was a chore I hated. Hope you get sorted.
