Well this weekend I finally made up my mind and ordered a Ford Tourneo, not suits everyone as it is based on a Connect but for me and the dogs it should be fab, and hopefully will look good with my Eriba.

Sorry i only just saw this reply, test drive it was very smooth and did not feel like old diesels used to. engine was this one: 1.5 120PS with Auto Start-Stop (Diesel) Powershift Automatic

Space wise it was big interior and for the cost had lots for the money. I have a made to measure crate for my c-max which will transfer easily into this one. I have looked at fitted out crates but that limits interior use as it makes it less flexible.

i had a polo before my cmax and loved that car. just outgrew it with dog space being needed.
