Hi. I'm Ian Guy. We have a 2014 Eriba Troll 540. Here's a photo with a Kampa Pop Air awning attached. We're staying in the unit now, whilst our house is being rewired. IMG_3326.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

We lived in our PuckL for 3 months whilst our bungalow was completely renovated. When you get back in your house you'll wonder if you actually need all that space.

Got it a week ago. I was really pleased with it until this morning when I found that it had pulled out of the awning rail at both ends.

. How do you like the Kampa awning? Does it stand up to the wind well?

New Kampa Awning

Hi DevonSue

We're having trouble with it. It's been up 10 days. On the fifth day I noticed that about 6" of beading had pulled out of the awning rail at both ends. We had gusts of wind (outside) up to 45mph one night. And the ground slopes slightly away from the awning side of the van. Kampa say they've sold hundreds and they've had no other reports of this problem - but I guess not many have been tried out yet. I've agreed with Magnum motorhomes, from whom I bought it, that I'll take it down and put it up again to see if the problem recurs. We had trouble getting the ends of the beading to stay in the rail when we first put it up, so I'm not very hopeful. There's a thread about the awning on the Awnings etc section of the forum, with some helpful comments and advice.

Ian
