Hello, newbie needing some help pretty please! We've just bought a 2006 Troll 554 and are looking to convert the seating area into another double bed for the kids. Does anyone know where we can get another table leg that we can crop to allow the table to form part of this arrangement or does anyone have one for sale. Trawled the web and contacted AL but can't seem to buy this new as it's been discontinued

Hi Troll1234. This isn't really an answer to your question and is probably no use to you other than it may be of interest! last July we collected our Troll 540GT from AL and had our first Eriba experience at Moreton C & C site near Weymouth. As we were bright and shiny new the three other Eriba owners on site came for a chat and a look around.
A family near us from either Bolton or Wigan way had an older Troll 540. He and his wife slept in the make up double but he had converted the little diner/single bed into bunk beds for his kids who were nearly teenagers. He was obviously a handy lad as he did this without drilling into the side walls and compromising them. He said he had got the idea from seeing another Eriba owner who had done something similar. I think that he said that he had measured everything very accurately so that they were free standing but somehow wedged into the space at the front. He did them like this so that he could take them out and replace everything when the children no longer wanted to holiday with them. Perhaps someone on the site has done something similar?

Hi, we recently bought a folding leg from Just Kampers

http://www.justkampers.com/height-adjustable-table-leg.htm

This has worked well to adapt our table on a 420GT to a clip on type. Do not know exactly what you are looking for on yours but leg could easily be shortened as it is an Aluminium extrusion. Just Kamper delivery etc. was really quick and some VW camper parts are the same as Eriba---the site is worth a look.

I have a dodgy right leg, so was struggling with manoeuvring between table and cupboards. We just recently shortened our familier table, taking off the metal bracket, sawed about three inches off, the table is not solid wood, it is cardboard, with a wooden edge ! So once cut, we had to remove Formica from cut off piece, to insert back into table. Make new L shape, then re attach metal bracket.
Table is not as strong as you imagine!

Why don't you make supports for the seat bases and position the table like this:s-l1600 (15).jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)s-l1600 (14).jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Grasshopper Leisure sell a folding table leg for £21.99 which will allow to drop the table to a bed level.

There is one here that looks like the originals Eriba used to use.

Also one here that might be adaptable
