Pop top maintenance

What maintenance is required for the pop top and springs ? Mine look like they need replacing ?

A dab of grease on the rollers in the slots and a spot of oil on the other pivot points.

They don't look too worn.

I did wonder if the rollers should go right to the end of the slots ? The rear offside is about an inch lower than the rest of the top when it's up !

I believe that AL use Vaseline to lubricate the scissor action, it has to be acid and resin free grease near the canvas...

When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!

If you think I am going into my local chemist and ask for vaseline..forget it ;)

How do you think they feel? they have to go in every week and ask for the big tub ............ (maybe that's why they had to move?)
