Towing with a VWT5, unhitch caravan and when you unplug electrics the all the reversing sensors come back on.

Towing with new car, unhitch caravan and you have to actually press the button and stow the electronic towball before the reversing sensors come on.

Result, in Automotive Leisure's front yard no less, reversed into steel post and mashed the tailgate of Clippie's new car Didn't help when the member of staff said that they'd had to reset that post several times because people keep hitting it!!!! (They have a gate between two posts but then another rogue post to the side. I had a post visible in each wing mirror and no peeping sensors arrrggghhhhh!!!).

Insurance will cover it, protected no claims discount and husband being remarkably laid back about it....

Someone pour me a large G&T tomorrow!!!
