recently purchased an Eriba Troll 550, but the layout is different from all internal views seen on the layout page in as much that the dinette end the seat under the window runs all the way to the door. the wardrobe and fire are after the fixed bed and before the kitchen area.
on the plate outside it reads 550H?

The layout is the 555GT with the standard table(not kidney shaped) the the plate says 550Hgt?
just waiting for my car to come back from repair and I might be able to get a weekend away. transit van hit the car up it,s backside. new tailgate bumper and towbar 3 days work now running into it, seventh.

555 layout is the same as mine, why the plate outside near the door should say 550H not sure. might mean i need new reading glasses?

Like others have said, it sounds like a 555.
If so, technically yours is a 555 GTV, and ones with the front 'kidney' table are referred to as a 555 GTR. This is what I was advised at Lechlade when I purchased our 555 in 2006.

Have you just bought yours from AL?

van was purchased by it,s previous owner from Dom in Norfolk according to info that was in the van, I purchased through Ebay and was for sale due to owners wife suffering with ill health.
It was fitted with a mover and bike rack on rear which i removed, hot water heater and extra internal tank with level sensor which allow for main tank to be topped up from inside van. Various TV bit, booster and socket and aerials,
i have changed some internal light fitting for `led,s and was waiting for some warmer weather to try it out, unfortunately my car was shunted two weeks ago and i am waiting its, return from repair.
we have had touring van before and bought the Eriba after selling our T4 VW camper.
