Chris Robins

It is with great sadness that we have just heard the news that Chris (ChrisandPapaSmurf) has passed away today.

After a serious operation last year, Chris was taken ill again earlier this year when holidaying with Frank at their daughter's home in Australia. She passed away at lunchtime today at Andover Hospital.

Many of us have spent a lot of pleasant hours with Chris and Frank at various Eriba Owner's Club and Eribafolk Meets where they have always been great company.

Our thoughts go out to Frank and the rest of the family at this very sad time.

We didn't really know them having only met them at the Netley Meet in 2015, our first Meet, but was looking forward to meeting them again at the recent Spring Meet. Our thoughts are with Frank and his family at this time.

Such sad news. We first met Chris & Frank at Netley 2015 meet. They were the first people to come up and talk to us. As newbies they both made us very welcome. Met again at the gathering last year. Such nice people. Our thoughts go to Frank and their family. Love Sally & Jon xx

So sad, Chris was a lovely lady, always keen to share, recipes and site recommendations. Always a good laugh, was really looking forward to seeing them again in the summer. Much love to Frank and all the family.

Chris' funeral is next Tuesday 9th May. 11am near Basingstoke. I have fuller details if anyone wishes to attend.

This morning it was Chris' funeral and Shel (Michele Watkins) attended. She has just messaged us to say :-

Hiya guys. Chris had a lovely send of. Escorted to the crem with extremely noisy hairy arse bikers. Bloody brilliant. Frank is doing well. Finally met her daughter who is the image of Chris and she spoke so well in the crem. Just having a quick 'soft' drink before I head home. Looking forward to seeing you all in August so we can raise a drink together for her. Take care all x
