New Kampa Awning - Triton 410 and 418 offside flue issue

I know there is an extensive thread on the Kampa inflatable and the fun that it is causing.

As a recent - though temporary - victim I thought it important to raise a new thread on a model specific issue.

The rear arch of the Pop Air 340 is quite high - the tube comes up to the rim of the raised top.

The Triton 410 and 418 models have the heater on the door side and the flue is almost exactly half way down the length of the van.

With the chimney/flue extension fitted there is going to be a big problem where the flue will eith be in direct contact with - or very close to - the top part of the rear arch. Sadly I didn't see this at the time I was messing with the inflatable toy as I hadn't used the flue extension by then. It was only after my last trip when I was reviewing the pics that it clicked.

There's a bit of a twist to this - shortly after my awning return the pics provided by me and the supplier showing the 6" foot gap, it seems that folks are being advised to use stacka pads or similar to raise the front arch to get the correct fit for the sides. I don't know if this is via Kampa or other sources.
If you do this it tilts the arch even further back and probably prevents fitting the flue extension.

So, you now have the flue exit right next to the rear air tube arch, and an air valley between the roof canvas and the awning.

I have not measured the temperature of the flue gas when it's at full bore - but assume it is rather hot.

Nor have I the means of checking the permeability of either the roof canvas or the awning material to those gasses. On that topic I guess that with the nearside flues those gases will clear naturally, but with the valley on the offiside flue model - on say a still frosty night, would it cause a build up?

The pic attached is from my 2107 410 with the 340 awning in 'sloping wall' mode. If you imagine the flue extension fitted you'll see what I mean.

The purpose of this post is simply to raise awareness of this issue for a pretty small niche of Triton owners - the 310 Fam flue is forward mounted so shouldn't be an issue - not sure on other earlier Eriba models as to which have offside flue.
