I have never used the water system in my 2013 eriba triton 420.
Do I need a pump to get the water in??
How do I know how much water to put in?
How do I put the water in?
Do I need to empty it after my holiday before travelling home.....how do I do that? 😱
Eeeek, I feel very silly asking......

Depends what sort of water tank you have? mine is a plastic tank under the sink (similar in the washroom) like this.

I fill mine with a watering can with a bit of hose taped on ............. no need to fill right up just add some more when it gets low.

travel with it empty to save it sloshing about in the container to empty it leave the tap running until the water stops running .. the last little drop won't do any harm ...... empty if a long time between trips.

Just make sure you don't run the tap if you haven't got water in the tank, it will burn out (been there, done that).
If you have a large onboard tank under one of your seats with an external filling point, it's quite easy, use the watering can again, stop when water starts coming out of the filling point. To empty pull the plug (inside the tank).
There are no silly questions, pick the brains of the people here who've already made the mistakes

Our Triton has a big tank under one of the back seats and a filling stopper on the outside of the van. We only put a 10 ltrs of water in as it's only for veg hand washing in the main and we empty it by turning on the taps.
