My husband and I have just bought an Eriba Troll 550 GT. We have just had a mover fitted and we have just returned after following 2 stages of the Tour de France. We are looking into electrical possibility of lights ,etc working off our Leisure battery when we are not parked on a campsite with electricity supplied nor the caravan connected to the car. Hopefully we will have sorted this out this week end. We will keep the forum informed how we get on.

I would suggest that you change all your lights from halogen bulbs to GOOD QUALITY a/c - d/c 12 volt L.E.D lights - if you have standard halogen bulbs at the moment ! This will dramatically reduce battery current use ! :) Further advice and care may be needed to ensure that you don't end up with 'flickery' lights when connected to 'hook - up' ! !

Helo, and thank you for all your good wishes and helpful advice. Always well received and appreciated. Dafydd and Beryl

PS
We have been overwhelmed with your kind replies to our problems, and would like to mention that if you come to area 47 France, send us an email, and if we are at home we would like to welcome you here. You could park for the night in our garden and it would be fantastic to see another Eriba here, and meet like minded folk.
