Hello from south Scotland. We picked this 1990 Puck up last weekend from Tony at Eriba Caravan Sales last weekend and can't recommend him enough, really nice guy.

We'll be adding our own touches to it over time but firstly will be adding a leisure battery and charging system to it as we usually go 'off grid'.

It's maiden trip will be in a couple of weeks to VW Festival at Harewood house in Yorkshire, then probably up to Fort William for some mountain biking towards the end of August.

Anyhow, here it is

We're no strangers to small caravans and previously had this,

a Tab 320 but the overall quality of Eribas won us over.

Thanks for the welcome, had a day on it today, sorting out the mounting and positioning of the leisure battery and getting the radio mounted. I was a bit reluctant to mount one into the side of the wardrobe as I didnt want to cut the panels but there were already numerous holes in it and I'd rather do that than have a freestanding one taking up space elsewhere.

Also had a look at the awning that came with it, all in all excellent condition, the only thing wrong was one of the plastic sections where 4 poles come together (Van der Horn) was broken, so I'll either bond a piece of alloy over the crack or fabricate a new one out of steel.

The multi jointed Van der Horn piece may not actually be unique so it's always worth looking in the camping accessory shop's awning bits and pieces for a replacement. Most of these shops seem to have a collection of poles and joints in a corner somewhere.

I had looked for a replacement but couldnt source any online, we dont really have any decent camping shops round us or that would be my next try. My thoughts are just to make new steel ones, they'll be easy enough to fabricated and I wont need to worry about it breaking again. I suppose if Im making a new centre one then I may as well knock up new side ones as they'll all be the same age.

to the forum. We were in glen nevis last week. I found that the bit they hold for none reserved pitches was rather quite and the reserved bit had screaming kids

Thats the place we generally stay at when we're up there. Although we always reserve, we park in the none reserved bit for that reason
