I recently took my fixed bed 310 to a weigh bridge and was not surprised to find it weighed 920kg (20kg more than the MTPLM of 900kg). It has a leisure battery, spare wheel and motor mover fitted.

I suspected I was up to the limit and was not sure if it would be over, or just very close. I had one 6kg gas bottle installed at the time, along with most of the other items we have onboard minus food in the fridge, water and some clothing. We don't have an awning and the storage under the bed was empty at the time (apart from the kampa khazi).

Luckily, I had already discovered I have the 1050kg chassis and quickly ordered the new type plate from Hymer. Now I have a bit more kg to play with.

So a word of caution to others, these common additions may easily take you over the limit on a lower rated chasis.
