Hi Julie
The stabiliser fitting is quite straight forward, but it would be useful if you could get hold of the installation instructions
Both fixing bolts must be inserted from the port side of the hitch to ensure the stabiliser's clamp lever isn't fouled.
In the kit there will be a couple of spacers for narrower drawbars which you won't need.
There's also a dowel which is used to drive the rear hitch bolt out, so when the bolt is removed, it's replaced by the dowel. This is to ensure the front fixing eye of the overrun damper remains in place.
The dowel's length is the same as the drawbar diameter to allow the new hitch head to fit in place. The new rear fixing bolt is knocked in position and at the same time, drives the dowel out.
That's the tricky bit done. Fixing the front hitch bolt is quite straightforward, but you must ensure there is a tubular spacer within the drawbar that the front bolt goes through.
Both bolts must be tightened to the correct torque - 86Nm if the 12mm bolts are marked 8.8 grade.
Let me know if you need any more info.
