Hi, it's nice to find such a genuine forum! First a big thank you to all the contributors to the threads I have been browsing over the last few weeks and who have helped us decide on the Troll 540 which we have just ordered from AL for delivery in March / April.

Just as a bit of background we are new to caravanning but have come to it via backpacking in the UK (1970's), Camping in France (1980's), Yacht sailing (small - we must be one of the few who found the Eriba to be more spacious than we are used to and with fewer opportunities for banging heads on the ceiling!) and finally a month campervanning around Australia last year.

Looking forward to getting on the road next year and maybe seeing some of you around the place

'ceiling height' may be adequate - but watch out for the "Eriba Kiss" (hitting your head on the on the Exit/Entering door frame

We have ordered a 542 from AL for delivery March / April , like you the forum helped us a lot and continues to do so as we have never purchased a caravan before.
