Wall coverings for 1971 Eriba Puck

Hi there - we have just acquired a 1971 Eriba Puck whose insides are completed gutted. The previous owner put some foam insulation panels on the walls but otherwise they are bare. We are looking for suggestions for how to finish the walls -- would wood panels be the most appropriate idea? If anyone has tackled this issue before, please let us know...

Thanks!

Hi Susan, Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the forum.

The original wall covering was vinyl - check out these youtube videos, the first one is a complete strip down/rebuild of a Puck and you will see the old vinyl being stripped out:

The second one is a modernisation of a vintage Faun (in California!) and here the owners have lined the interior walls with thin sheets of birch ply. I have to say that it looks very good indeed:

I'd love to see some pics of your new 'van

Cheers,
Steve.
