Norwich camping have begun advertising a ‘try before you buy’ scheme for these air awnings.
I wonder if this is a response to the numbers of customers returning these awnings having found them unsuitable?

Like many I will be interested to see how this one plays out.

Kampa know they have problems, but judging by their response to my awning still pulling out after the modification they seem to be in the dark of how poor the situation is. It is being collected by courier to go for testing. This means Lowdhams of Nottingham are having to erect the awning and try to replicate my problems - best of luck.
Perhaps Kampa are now making an attempt to get to fully understand what we are dealing with.

The situation may hot up in a year or so. I have been in contact with Vango recently and they are looking into producing an Eriba specific air awning.
They are hoping to show this at the 2018 Oct Caravan Club show, with availability for the 2019 season.

Vango have no further details as it is very early days. Distributors will have no information as they will probably be unaware of the idea. So if anybody is interested it is not worth making any enquiries. If/when I know anything else I will post it.
