Hi we have just bought a 1976 eriba puck that has been stripped out inside. We are trying to work out the best way to get the bed to work - Has anyone done any modifications to their layout that has worked for them.

Hi Lynne and welcome to Eribafolk.

I'm not sure by your post, whether you are looking to put the interior back together as it was originally or if you're looking to do something new. I would suggest that because of the size of the Puck, particularly the width, you'll be obliged to have the beds down the length of the van, which will restrict many radical changes to the existing layout.

There are some Puck interiors here:- g43-Eriba-Interiors.html and there are many on this dealer's website :-https://www.eribacaravansales.co.uk/

Many owners of classic Pucks do a wonderful job of cheering up the interiors of their vans by choosing vividly coloured material for new curtains and covers and some also treat the original woodwork to a coat of light coloured paint. This is frowned upon by some purists but it's your Puck so enjoy it.

Hi Lynne

We removed the convertible dining area in our caravan, and replaced it with a fixed bed. You can see the result here: The Eriba Future 430T Re-build.

The beds that we got are quite special, and as they are fixed it obviously won't work if you want to keep the dining / bed convertible aspect in your caravan. Nevertheless, you might find it interesting.
