It featured on The Restaurant Man" on Beeb last night. Having been put through the hoop on the programme, they seem to have developed into the right sort of price bracket with the promised quality and as it's only a short drive from Apple Tree Park for our summer fest. Carole suggested it might be worth a trip to save her cooking one night. Pity there is no bus service - well I haven't researched that yet but I don't mind the drive.

Of course.
Carole has just suggested having heard the good news of you and Frances joining us, that we maybe should reserve a table when we're nearer the date, as being on TV is bound to increase their potential and get booked up.

Perhaps a venue to celebrate Ellen's ("""""40th""""") Birthday again?

Makes sense, thinking of the Saturday night, but don't want to impinge on the fest organisers plans for get together on the site.

If you have time on your trip, well worth a look is the view fron the top of Selsley common, it is a short walk from one of the free car parks, alternatively you can park at Frocester view point and stay in your car. Ice cream vans frequent both areas in season. For the more energetic there is a lovely walk between the two

Mark and me will be visiting this Area for the first time and it sounds like we are in for a treat. Don't think we would be able to join in the meal tho as we would have the dogs with us and it could be too warm for them to be left in the car ( fingers x for nice weather) and we would have to leave on the Saturday night due to Mark being back in work Sunday. Nevermind, hopefully everyone will be on site Friday night and so we could have a knees up then, after all you're only 40 once . Ellen.
