..I only want one, so why do the manufacturers almost always insist in selling their levelling ramps in pairs. I can see that twin axle vans would need two, but they are in the minority, and motorhomes possibly three, but I only want one. Am I being unreasonable?

I think the main users of leveling ramps are motor-homers and as such they come in pairs. For us caravan owners having two is no hardship. I have at times doubled them up and also used under the corner steadies for a bit of extra height or to spread the load on soft ground.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

Dave, I think the Locknlevel is a bit pricey for me and I'm not too keen on the idea of a pneumatic level.

Colin, the idea of doubling them up or using them as corner steadies appeals to me.

I have just come across the Milenco Level 6 which seems to be very versatile. Has anyone on the forum had experience of them?

I picked up a used Milenco aluminium leveller on eBay for less than half of what they cost new. I really like the construction and I'm confident that it's going to be a great Eriba asset.
